"Cage liners" - anyone ever used these?

Antegy Oct 22, 2004 06:48 AM

I followed this link from ks.com to a site that sells "cage liners".

here's the link: http://www.kingsnake.com/cageliners/index.html

I have just been using newspaper, which has it's good and bad points. I'm wondering if these 'cage liners' would be worth using, for whatever benefits they may afford.

Have you ever used these, or do you think they would be worthwhile?

Thanks,
- Mark

Wow I never knew this existed but it seems like a great idea. While newspaper is the cheapest way to go, I never did like the fact that my snakes have been forced to inhale the strong smell of ink. Cage liners seem like a great alternative that I need to try.

I'm using that right now, it works GREAT! A lot better than newspaper and lasts a REALLY long time, as long as you don't mind a couple of stains here or there. The type of paper is called Indented Kraft Paper, you can find it in a lot of places, but either way, it's pretty cheap, I bought mine from the Kingsnake add and it was like $50 for 300'x3' wide shipped. Pretty good deal for something that can last so long

Ben R...what brand of cages are those in the pic?

They are serpents by design or monster cages if you will

I just use packing paper, it works great and comes in like 4'x2' sheets.
