There are several species of Middle Eastern Coluber that are very similar looking to that snake, especially Coluber nummifer.
However, my gut tells me Spalerosophis on this one, mainly because of the shape of the blotching and the head length. That thick bar between the eyes is characteristic of the genus as well. So my final answer is going to be Spalerosophis 'diadema' dolichosphila, which has the regular dorsal markings.
This is just an educated guess as I'm not too knowledgable on the snakes of that area. I'm interested to see what others think.

I think you are correct, it very much resembles the diadem snake I had in my collection for a few years..the head is the key.
Close enough. It is a S.diadema.
