Pretty suboc (pic)

got this one at a local show. The breeder had six really nice ones to choose from--it wasn't easy narrowing down my favorites, but I ended up with a pair of nice yellow subocs. It's actually more yellow than the pic shows. I like the wild strains, rather than the morphs. This is a yearling, and only $45 each. Sweet.

Speaking of Sub-oc I had the first two of 24 Sub-oc eggs hatch yesterday. The male was a pure silver wild caught. All of my females are also wild caught normal. The first two young are silver. I am not sure if the color will change but the young look awsome. Again congrats on your effort and intuition on the western project. Sighthunter.

Just out of curiosity, did you get a pair of yearlings or are they this years hatch? Judging by the pic, I'd guess a yearling, but you never know.
Nice snake, either way. Subocs rule, IMHO.
Cheers!

the breeder had not especially busted himself to sell them, and still had them after a year. They were all well started--very well started--totally acclimated, in fact--mine eat defrosted fuzzies once a week. Routine. He put them out at a very nice price, especially for yearlings, and since they were just what I was looking for.......well.....
