What is the optimum humidity for star tortoise eggs?

The general rule all around is high humidity without the moisture contacting the eggg. If you can't provide this, drier seems to be more successful.
What many breeders have come to do is place the eggs in a dry substrate (sand, perlite, vermiculite...) and then place the container in a pan of water in the incubator. This gives maximum humidity yet keeps the eggs dry.
