Shipping boxes

reptilefreak16 Oct 23, 2004 11:23 AM

OK, i am trying to get set up to ship out some of my hatchling (next year when i get them)So i have a few questions about doing so.

I thought about using the crickets boxes i have from my cricket company. they are L= 12" W= 12" H= 4.5" and on two of the sides there are 2 separate 3X2" peices of screen. The box says FRAGILE and LIVE CRICKETS on it. Are these sutible to be used for shipping leopard geckos.?? I thought if i did shipping during the winter i would cover up the screen about 90% of it any way. Any help would be great. Thanks

The best way to go is to buy wholesale reptile shipping boxes. You can buy deli cups as well, but you may just want to visit the deli section of your local grocery store for that. As for Heat Packs, might as well order them online too. Here's a link to a site for shipping supplies.

Shipping Supplies.

You can choose from the categories there. Good luck on this coming breeding season!

I wouldn't use the cricket boxes. They've got screen on them and that's terrible for trying to insulate the box the geckos arrive in. Your customers will appreciate it if you buy sets of brand new shipping boxes; it looks more professional and alot cleaner. Good luck.
