this same occurance was poted by someone else a few months ago but i found it good enought o post agian.

I was wondering why my cham was flatting himself behinde a branch try to get out of my veiw and i couldn't figure out why until i look down and see.....lol....im wearing a bright red shirt.. i took it of and put on a white shirt and he was fine. i think its funny how chams commucation with each other gets confused when they see it somwhere else..... try wear and red shirt and see what your cham does.

also the new cage for my cham is a royal blue color.....i how that doesn't scare him or anything....hehe

lol. I've only seen my female panther flare up once, and it was because I was wearing a bright shirt (orange or red I think). She turned bright yellow with orange, and had black stripes. I didn't even know that females could "flare up". I wish I had gotten a pic of it.... She also gets really pissy if i wear coloured nail polish. She won't come near me or let me pick her up, I had to stop wearing it lol. Silly things.

Woah, A few days ago my chameleon would flatten and try to hide on the side of his vine. Now that i think about it, on that day i was wearing a red shirt! Funny....

Exact same thing for me last week with the red shirt! I went in to feed my trio of veileds and every one of them was hidden away behind the vine or branch they were on. Funny stuff! Good thing most of my clothes are on the darker side.

Now would that work with all chams? Or just ones that use the bright reds & oranges to display anger or displeasure? (Tho it would explain why my female veiled never left her cage today, as she normally does, and also why my male freaked out when I took him for his "shower"; I was wearing a bright red sweatshirt today...))
