2005 NARBC L.A. (Anaheim) SHOW HAS NEW LARGER VENUE!!!!!

BrianPotter Oct 23, 2004 01:09 PM

ALL IN ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL ROOM!!!!! The show has been moved 2 blocks North to the Anaheim Convention Center. This is a huge, beautiful "all in one room" facility. The host hotel will be determined next week....with that info to be posted ASAP. We really want to thank everyone for their support in 2004 and hope to see all of you and many new faces in 2005. This room can hold 375 booths.....which would make it the largest show in the USA! We already have our marketing plan in place for 2005.....and its bigger than we had in 2004. NOBODY WORKS HARDER TO PROMOTE A SHOW THAN THE NARBC!!!! Vendor sign up forms will start being mailed after January 1st.

Glad to hear it is bigger and all in one room!

Few questions:
How many booths were there this year?

375 next year? I thought Daytona had over 400 booths.

Same weekend? I cant wait, this year's show was the best Ive ever been to.

This years show had around 250 booths and tables. Daytona actually has about 600 tables. We can have a max of 375 booths which hold 2 tables (some 3 tables) each. So thats how we have the ability to be the largest show in the USA.....not to mention the largest by square footage. This show will be at the Anaheim Convention Center.....which is one amazing building! The host hotel which is The Marriott Hotel is also beautiful and is located just next door. Planning is under way for a top notch show in 2005. We will begin mailing vendor packs as soon as we get back from the Philly show!

So we are talking bigger booths then right? Will the price per booth be changing? And is the date set yet?

BrianPotter Nov 11, 2004 08:52 AM

Booths are the same this year......8' deep X 10' wide. Prices are the same as last year. We will also be doing more advertising than last year......never enough! A documentary being filmed on a yet to be disclosed Australian celebrity will also be partly filmed at the show. Mark O'Shea will be at the show again this year doing filming for a project here in the USA....some of it at the show. We are also going to try and organize a ton of herp societys to do a joint meeting. We are going to be working full force on the planning starting next week.......as soon as we are done here in Philly!!!!
