At first I was pretty upset over a Hogg x Peruvian, but I got over it. This is the other female I bought from Byron Crosby. Very nice color. The only reason I'm calling them Orange Torch is to go along with the Orange Flame(Suriname x Hog), I got from Steve at Serpents Den.
That last one was a Suriname x Hog. This one is a Peruvian x Hog, I plan to breed them together.

I like her looks....especially that pink and blue coming in on her sides. I even like her speckling and markings! It makes a nice contrast on her light base color.

I didn't know if it was coming through very well, but they do have a very blue looking head. One of the things I'm not particularly fond of is a Hog boas head type, too small and narrow. I'm hoping these girls get more of the broad head type of Peruvians. Probably would be great to mix with some hypos...

Hey Matt, you are right they do have some nice colors. I have one from last year as well. The pic is kinda dark but you can see the racing stripe..lol

All the pictures I've taken don't capture their high color density. I keep a few Peruvians, so like I said, I was pretty burned up about these at first. But my curiousity got the better of me.. had to get one. I am very happy I did. I like the connected tail on yours.. gotta be the hog that contributes that trait.
