scented foods?

kamakiri Oct 23, 2004 02:48 PM

hello. ive been looking up info on hognose snakes for a little while, they look so cute and i was wondering what this scented pinkie talk was all about. i know they eat toads in the wild so is that why? and is it possible to just start hatchlings on pinks that are not scented? please someone clarify this for me. thanks in advance!

Some will take unscented pinks no problem. Some wont. It is best to buy one from a breeder that has kept good records of what he has eaten and how often.

Pinks can be scented with toads, lizards and tuna. At least those are the ones i have heard of, there might be others.
