Once a tort has mild pyrimiding occur can it ever be reversed?
What is considered "mild" and "severe" when it comes to sulcatas? Anyone have example pics?
How can you tell a female from a male sulcata? Most aquatic turtles I can tell pretty easily in person, but a sulcata photo makes it a lot harder. I'm fairly certain that the person is being truthful, I'm just curious myself.
The reason I'm asking is I have been offered a 13 inch female sulcata that appears to have at least some pyrimiding to her shell. It I've done lots of research into the light and feeding requirements, but not much on pyrimiding. I had originally planned on raising mine up from a baby and keeping that from happening in the first place if possible. Not a novice to reptiles, just to torts.
