Albino Spider

designersnakes Oct 23, 2004 04:27 PM

This was quite a sight to behold hatching out of the egg. We had 5 eggs and only 1 Spider in there. Fortunately for us she was an Albino. The others consisted of 2.0 Albinos and 1.1 hets. She is a little light but she is definately coming into her color. I can't wait until she sheds! Her brothers are higher contrast. She was produced from a Spider Het/Albino high contrast to a lower contrast Albino female. We have 1 more clutch in the incubator from the same male to a High contrast Albino female. The breeder male hasn't quite turned 1 year old yet as he was hatched out in November of '03. We have been fortunate to get several young males to produce for us this year.

Thanks for looking,

Jack

You're absolutely right - just wait until that first shed! She'll knock your socks off even more.

Congrats on a great hatch!
