brown or grey tree frogs?

miCHeLe77 Jun 29, 2003 07:30 AM

Does anyone have any pictures of grey tree frog froglets? I recently rescued a bunch of tadpoles from the neighbors pool before she dumped chlorine in to kill the frogs. I now have two sizes of the cutest little brown tree frogs. I went to the FROGS AND TOADS OF GEORGIA website to try to identify what kind of frogs I have. The pictures that looked the most like my frogs were the Cope's grey or the hybrid grey tree frog. But the sample of the calling that was with each picture didn't sound like any of the calls that I hear from my neighbors backyard. Plus both pictures where of adult frogs & I have very new froglets. I have two sizes of frogs. The two oldest & largest frogs are light brown (sometimes one is darker than the other) with darker brown spots under the eyes. The three smaller ones that morphed only three days ago, are dark brown. Anyone have anything that can help me to identify these little babes would be much appreciated. THANKS

I just wanted to add that these little frogs have rounded heads not the pointy ones. Thought this was an important detail to help identify the species.
