blemishes/scars

WiG Oct 23, 2004 06:21 PM

My new ball (Monty) has three little scars on its body. two on the sides that are like little lumps of dry skin and one underneath. if i were to pick them off and put antiseptic cream over the exposed areas, would scales reform there. it's just because its a lovely colour and pattern everywhere else and a good feeder so i want it to look its best. the other one in the shop had similar scars so it was six of one or half a dozen of the other.
before anyone implies that im a butcher, i haven't done anything to him yet and won't unless someone has dealt with this themselves before.
thanks
Brian

Here's the best way to decide. Hold a small hand mirror in front of Monty. If he doesn't complain about the scars, you shouldn't either.
