Mice aren't needed in a pacmans diet so if he doesn't eat them no problem.Feed him rosy reds and the variety of worms and crickets available that I posted earlier.

You are correct they are not needed but neither is anything else that is recommended for them to eat instead. You can make that statement about crickets, rosey reds or anything else.
Sometimes animals need to be offered a food item a couple times to get them to eat it.
