Injured garter

Jmolden87 Jun 29, 2003 08:46 AM

I have a garter with a injury on its head. It shed today, but the skin around its head and part of its neck didn't shed off. Should I soak him in hot water and peal it off? Or should I let it go on its own since it's injured? Thanks.

Not hot water...maybe tepid. I would try some other things first, like putting it in a damp pillowcase along with some warm, damp paper towels. Andy

You could also try ?? to peel it off gently. don't leave it though as it could become infected.
