I found this while searching for the Vohemar Region of madagascar. I hope this helps as well.

Thanks Bsmith for the first two. They helped me a bit.

now the question is....which regions do you use for association with your different species?

bsmith251 Oct 25, 2004 09:15 PM

Seems to me, after doing a fair amount of research using the predicted collection sites as stated in the Madagascan Govt. proposal for listing Uro's on CITES, that most species occur on the north western coast starting at about Majunga on up (incoprating a few near coast islands as well)... This is a vague generalization and I'm sure there are numerous microclimates contained within this entire area...

I've been using very general bits of information on location where they have been collected or have been seen. Its not a very strong method of gathering info but its the best I'm able to do with my limited amount of time and resources. I'd love to get a hold of neil meister and/or Olaf pronk to pick their brains a bit about where to find them but haven't had great success with that. ITs just a matter of time, I've got a bit of it.

cheers,
boy
