If the air temps in the cage are at least 80 degrees, with a 90 degree hot spot, a daily misting is okay if you let the cage go dry at night. However, in cooler temperatures or if a draft is present misting can lead to respiratory infection. Humidity is very important, but most of us use a small room humidifier.
In cooler environments, is it mandatory to continually mist boas? I am using an ultrasonic fogger set on a timer for 2 1/2 hours. It comes on at 6:00am to 8:30am. Is that ok?
