While I think its good to give your geckos some down time, I would not worry about stress after two or three clutches... I would say that after 6-7 (if you can get that many then DAMN) you might want to begin to cool them down... Say she lays 6 clutches three weeks apart for 18 weeks... Thats about 4.5 months, which is close to the time period of a seasonal change... This would leave plenty of resting time...
I have known people who have had Uros pop out fertile eggs all year long with seemingly no adverse affects on the female's condition (in the short term that is)... To that I say; just make sure she's getting the nutrients...
You have to consider as well that to breed all year round is not natural however, and in the wild they could escape a pestering male... Not so in a 30 gallon enclosure... 
I cool my gex down and give them a break... And I think most knowledgeable and serious breeders practice some method of control (ie seperating, cooling, ect.)...
