Ok so now the hunger strike has been going on about a month maybe. Im pretty sure this is from him being in breeding season. He will only take a few bites of food a day. He is very active, on a constant quest to escape his enclosure. He is still drinking some water and im misting him several times a day, so i dont think dehydration is a issue. Im concerned how long he can go on like this. Ozzy was a great eater before he went in season. Now he isnt. But the stinker cant resist fruit, which has been the main thing he has ate over the last month. I even caught him picking out the fruit. And i tried only giving him his salad which is mustards, collards, dandelion, butternut squash, parsnip and green bean, no way he wouldnt touch it. Its fruit or nothing with ozzy. So i was wondering what problems can too much fruit cause for him, i mean i know it should make up only a very small portion of there diet. I am feeding "good fruits" like cantalope, blueberries and mango. These are his favorites. And how long will this last? I think i read a few months, but gosh i hope not. Dont know if this iguanamom can last that long , lol. He is stressing me out. But i guess i shouldnt complain too much, at least he still seems pretty sweet. Hasnt gotten agressive yet. Thanks ahead for any input you have. Tami
