I caught him at work.
Southeast Tennessee
He/she is also the tamest nerodia I have ever caught.
Squirms like the devil to get away and is fast on the escape if it does get out of my hands but never once tried to bite.
I haven't decided if I will keep him or not.
I had planned to just get photos and take him back to work and let him go but I kind of like the little guy.
Nice pattern and it doesn't bite. My favorite kind of water snake...lol

I think you can tell if a snake wants to be free... its pretty obvious. Its also clear if a snake doens't mind captivity. Keep it for a little, then release or keep him!
