Hello all,
We've taken in an injured eastern black kingsnake for the winter.
The snake has stitches down at least four inches of his back. The vet prescribed him antibiotics to be given twice a day. I'm worried that we'll harm the stitches when restraining him to give the medicine. Would it be possible to just treat the wound with neosporin instead?
