cat attacks snake

I am sick......

I've had this Pueblan milksnake for 3 years now.... Apricot phase--gorgeous....

today I get home from shopping... the cats peeking their heads out of the basement door (normally greet us and come meowing and rubbing when we walk in) and then heading back downstairs...

I was puzzled but we were bringing in a new dresser and such... thinking that the large objects were scaring them..... even afterwards they were fascinated with the basement. I'm like "fine they found a mouse or something." I went to paint some trim here in our new house and the brush just wasn't doing the job. I headed down to the basement to get a better brush and stepped on something too squishy to be the step.....

my cat had my milksnake. Thank God, I thought, I didn't really step on it b/c I felt it and didn't step.......

I picked her up though and saw a puncture wound and a few spots where I could see the muscle..... What can I do for her? She is still moving.....
