Shes had enough of getting her pic taken tonight hehehe

Hey,
Nice lookin' snake! If you don't mind me asking do you know who the breeder was? Also, how old is it? In any event a beautiful color...hopefull it enjoys most of it's time in places other than a water bowl rim

She was no bigger than a trout worm with a peanut head. Actually I was a bit dissappointed when I got her. I specifically asked for one that was large enough to eat small adult mice....LOL Instead I got a bright yellow worm that had trouble with very small pinkies. I guess thats what i get for asking a friend to pick me one up at a show. But anyway, unfortunately I dont have any info on the breeder. I've had her for almost 2 years. Great snake, never misses a meal and very calm....except at night. But that is to be expected with almost any snake. And yes, there are many things in her terrerium for her to climb on (branches etc.). I just happened to catch her out cruising her cage at night, enjoying a dip in her "jaccuzzi" lol. And thank your for your compliments on her
well.....as close as Im going to get anyway.

Hi, that is a pretty snake...I was going to ask how close DO you get to her...or him...can't remember if you said what sex...anyway, how do you handle her. Always with tongs? And what is her name? Just curious.. Thanks. I didn't realize that so many people actually owned venomous snakes until recently.
And never will. respect respect respect lol. Actually I really dont know if it is male or female I just prefer to call it a her. I never really gave her a name either.... But when i have to go into her cage i use 2 ft hemostats and a hook and i wear big welding gloves just incase. Probably overkill but I'd rather be safe than sorry. In the photos, I am approximately 2ft away. Actually my HAND inside the welding glove that is holding the camera is 2ft away. The rest of me is 2ft the length of my arm. I just zoom in as close as it goes and snap the pictures. Being that she is only about a foot long i feel relatively safe at 2ft away. I try to keep an eye directly on her instead of on the camera. Any sign of agitation or aggression on her part and I stop shooting immediately.
