Building a Snake cage on a Chair

thekidgecko Oct 24, 2004 09:04 PM

Ok, here's the deal. This year I am in advanced art class and we do a thing called the "Chair Affair" where we auction off chairs for charities. Of course I will buy mine. My plan is to put an acrylic Chondro cage built under the back of the seat. How should I heat/light it? I can wire it but I'm not sure what heat or what kinds of lights I should use. Any suggestions?(BTW I will post pics here when done!)

You will get much better responses in the caging forum--there are some real active posters there with extensive experience in both design and production.

That said, I would think a Radiant Heat Panel would be most unobtrusive/effective...especially if you go for a shallow tray of water as the "substrate" considering your healthy chondro may never touch it.
