I might be working at the zoo in a few weeks, im not sure if the snakes they have in there are miteless, in case they have mites, is there a way they can "get" on me and travel with me down to my house and infest my snake collection?

definately.....

keep a "no pest" strip (looks like a yellow piece of plastic in a cardboard sheath thats black with round holes cut, usually seen hanging in barns and porches, i think they are made by spectrum....used to be black flag?) near your cages and if you see any on your animals cut a 1 inch cube and place in cage for about 4 days.....that will kill them all and the eggs also

(also was clothes and hands etc. when you get home....common sense)
