How nice of you to ask how things are doing. Sorry I missed your post, this forum moves so much faster than the others I frequent. The little guy is doing well. He is 8 1/4 inches. He has taken well to the roaches. He is able to eat relatively larger roaches due to their softer exoskeleton compared to the crickets. My only concern is that he's so devoted to basking that if the roaches hide and/or don't run by his line of sight he does not eat them. This makes me a little concerned that he is not independent and eating once I put food in the tank. he hasn't shown much interest in greens yet. I have taken away the towels I used to cover the sides of the tank with, he seems to be comfortable with our presence. So, the only part im uneasy about is the feeding thing. I don't want him to become dependent on me helping him eat, for the sake of his independence. I will take some more pics for you all tonight... Thanks again for asking.
