loko Oct 25, 2004 02:52 AM

since this is the forum i turn to for cham related talk and since i reported my veileds sickness story i just wanted to let you know as well that he lost his fight on sunday afternoon.

he was hospitalized at his vet and got the best care. but he was too weak.

i'll have an obduction made of him so i'll know exactly what went wrong.

and if i make another attempt at providing a home for a cham i can make changes if it had anything to do with my care.

Geez, im sorry that you lost him. I remember when he was healthy, he was a very healthy, good looking chameleon. Cant think of what exactly could have gone wrong for him.

I'm sorry you lost him. I know how hard it can be to do everything you can to no avail. You did what you could and he was lucky to have such good care for his time here.

I am so sorry to hear this, but it had not looked good for awhile. I think you are a very conscientious keeper and it may not have had anything to do with your care and/or setup. But once you feel up to it you may just want to repost your setup and feeding info so that some of the "experts" (not me!) can help troubleshoot if need be.

You did what you could so go easy on yourself. It is always difficult, but remember that you never really lose anyone who you have held in your heart and I think you did - my thoughts are with you...
