New addition from Indy show----pics

jtclark Oct 25, 2004 11:52 AM

Well, I went looking for a White oaks grey and thought I was out of luck but the very last table I made it to had a few left. These are very cool snakes. I want to thank the guys who have posted pics of these over the last few weeks.

The pics aren't great but they will have to do until I get a good camera in December.

I also took a few pics at feeding time Saturday so I will throw in a few.

I guess White oaks are rivaling Bairdis for that position on top of everyones wish list. That said, it looks like almost everyone got their Bairdis this year.
Good colors on the little guy.

IMHO, they are a very underrated snake!!!! I have always liked the greys, and the white oaks just pushed it over the top!!!! LOL

Your pics are one of the reasons I had to have one. These are beautiful snakes. I don't know why they are not more popular--all of the pics I have seen are just unreal. I think the eyes of the hatchling you posted put me over the top. The grey eyes are crazy looking!

Thanks JT, the greys have always been one of my favorites since I was a kid!! And when the white oak greys hit the market, I had to have one, just never could get ahold of a really nice one until Dwight Good came along with his awesome snakes!! Thanks Dwight!!

If you think about it, the grey looks even better, IMHO, than the Anery corns!
I think it is only a matter of time for these beautiful snakes to catch on!!

Grey-rats are a very good looking snake, and like JT said, the eyes on Hotshot's hatchling white-oak are just stunning. Just like the Bairdi craze, lookout for the influx of Grey-rats everyone will be showing off in the next year. No doubt, I'll be one of them.

So are you saying I'm easily influenced? I joined the bandwagon on both of those. Maybe that is why I had too much fun in college...

I hope you realize that it is illegal to buy or sell gray rat snakes in Indiana. It is even illegal to breed them in Indiana.
