I recently purchased a 3 year old pair of GTPs from a very reputable boa breeder in my area. Upon taking them, he almost changed his mind while bagging them for me. He had told me that he had witnessed them breeding several times. When i took them, the female was opague and he told me not to be surprised if she dropped eggs after shedding. She was and still is very thick in the lower half of her body, in which he said she was more than likely ovulating.. This was two weeks ago. She had a perfect shed three days ago, and while on her perch, always had her tail hanging and her tail end is very thick almost looking like she is either going to defecate or lay eggs soon. Now here is the thing, she has been off her perch for two days now, and is hiding under the newspaper which i have for bedding, she is now very aggressive and even looks as if she is opague again? Does anyone know what is going on here? Should I probably be expecting eggs here soon? I did mess with the temps a little, giving them a day/night cycle the past three weeks, and tons of privacy. During the night they are in the guest bathroom, and temps stay constant between 78 - 80 degrees, and in the day, I put them in the garage near a window for sunlight, and temps reach a high of between 85-88 degrees. I don't know if this has played a role in any of this.. Any info is appreciated... thanks, Milo
