Shame on you for not telling her it wasn't politcally correct to lay in anything but dirt .

Hello Stella its been a long time! Hope you guys did well against the bad weather this year ƒ¼ as for this female she¡¦s just being curious, theirs 2 feet of decaying leave litter under this 3 feet stalk of bamboo debris, its my outdoor salvadorii nest, took them in last month and let some Africans play in there pen a little, however I took them in this morning as its getting cold. Check out the elegantly groomed sod on the right upper corner with the sun's reflection hitting it.

I posted this mostly for you and Mike, I guess you don’t need to know what’s under the tangle of bamboo? Why the bamboos? Can they act as temps regulators? Can they protect from heat stroke? Can they provide a sense of security? Can they allow females to nest guard without being seen? Can this type of nest be used indoors? Can a female see any safety benefits for her siblings? Is it possible that 2 feet of leaves covered with 3 feet stalk of bamboo branches be 1000s lbs less then dirt? Is it possible that large indo monitors prefers nesting this way then all iv tried before?
I don’t know!!!
what do you think?

Just wondering, as it looks like she's just buried in there.
