I saw a baby leo at a pet store today and I had never seen anything like it. It was small with Alot of carrot on its tail but all other patterns were normal, Exept its face. He had carrot colouring all around his eyes and on his forehead, He/she was BEAUTIFUL. I wished I would have picked it up but I am waiting to go to a show in november. Thanks!

A Carrot Tail is a Carrot Tail, so if it looked like one to you, chances are that is what it was.. Sounds like a Hypo to me. The bands of a baby Leopard Gecko can fade up very quickly. My gecko, Tango, was banded like a normal baby and turned out(3 months later..) to be SHT. It's hard to say if my baby is a Carrot Tail because the orange could go either way. I posted pics of him/her before, but I'll post them again for comparison.
