Black or Borneo?!?!

What is a good way to tell a Borneo from a Black Blood?
I've been looking around a little and have heard stories of people buying Blacks only to find out that they were Borneos.

Your best bet is to count scales here is a link to an article by Dave Barker it is pretty technical but has specific scalation for locals
