I would have to say that your king definitely has more of an Eastern King influence in that the bands are not very wide but since it has some interband lightening, it has some of the "goini" or blotched in it. I would call that an intergrade...Eastern X "goini"...blotched...Apalachicola...whatever name you want to call them. All of the "goini" offspring have dark interbands which lighten with age. But their bands are much wider. I've found a few of these out in the wild and you can tell which ones have more of an Eastern influence since they naturally intergrade with "goini". Many have interband lightening. Either way, it's a nice looking king. I just wouldn't call it a pure "goini" though because it obviously looks more Eastern.

These animals were sold to me by Isis reptiles as pure. And thats what I'm gonna call em. I have no reason to doubt Mike's or Isis's honesty.Here are the 1.1 pure original, goini blotched, Lloyd Lemke stock, Snakes. Believe or not!

Blotched King is right. What a Blotched King is a natural intergrade between a Apalachicola King (L.g.meansi) and a Eastern Kingsnake. Very nice looking snakes by the way Im sure they are gonna be Monsters as if I remember the pics I saw of Mike's at Isis his pair where big and quite beefy !

So meansi is official now? Sorry to make a big deal out of this but I get tired of people slamin the dealers I get my animals from.I like blotched better than goini and floridana better than brooksi anyway. thanks -John
