lost green snake....

riiotgrrl Oct 25, 2004 08:10 PM

im so upset. I lost my brand new green snake, and im sure it will be virtually impossible to find him in my house. I tried my best to secure the cage, but it seems like it was not enough. I am not an irresponsible person when it comes to my reptiles...in fact i am more responsible with them than i am with any other aspect of my life....but i feel sooo bad about this. Ugh. i need some consoling, please, any would be appreciated. thanks.... here is a photo of the culprit:

Sorry to hear about the loss but I have read post on here about folks finding their escapies after days or even weeks. I wouldn't give up hope yet. i haven't had any of mine escape (knock on wood) and I hope i never do.
Look in the least likely places..dresser drawers, closets, etc. Maybe he'll turn up.

Hi, i lost my first snake (a baby corn). I was sold a vivarium with sliding glass doors and was advised that it would NEVER escape from it..... I was nieve! That was back in may 04 and never found him yet. Turned my house upside down.

Never mind, he may still appear, i have been told of a corn that escaped and turned up a year later (looking a little worse for wear).

My gopher snake was lost for a good 6 months. Guess she maybe got into the attic because she had gotten fatter and longer when she turned up climing the bathroom door. Had to have been some rodents somewhere.

forgot to mention he is a very neat looking snake! don't they eat insects instead of rodents?
