Based on many different things to numerous to mention here, I have decided to build a Uni Colony. I don't just mean a pair, I mean a real colony with numerous unrelated pairs. But given the fact that there aren't many out there to be had, I have had to start thinking outside the box, so to speak. That boils down to importing some, and aquireing some captive breds from wherever I can get them, or even going down to Central America myself. So,...
I would like to hear from anyone who has some availeable. I would like to hear from anyone who can point me in the direction of an importer. And I would like to hear from anyone who can tell me anything about exactly where to look in the wild, and what hoops I would have to jump through to export/import from there to here. Now I know somebody out there can help. I would even entertain the prospect of taking on a partner, and going down there to catch a few. Something like this could benifit all of us, and it would build up a good strong diverse captive gene pool, which would benifit the species. So c'mon guys, let's go!
