New snake question

TallTex Oct 25, 2004 09:39 PM

Now that I have my new snake at home, I am coming up with tons of questions for you guys. What effect do the things going on outside of the aquarium have on the snake? I am asking because I am trying to leave her alone for the first week she is here but does will it stress her out if I sit and watch her through the tank? Also, when the lights in the room go on and off, does that bother them?

Thanks!

It's best to keep the new comer in a quiet part of the house away from to much foot traffic and noise.
They need a natural day/night cycle. If the room you have him in is dark all the time and your turning on and off the lights that could stress him out.
I have my lights on my tanks on timers so they go on and off as close to day and night as possible.
Just looking at him through the glass shouldn't bother him that much.
Just my 2 cents worth
