Awesome animal! High elevation Yuba Co.(around 4000ft) Most animals in this area have high black. He was a mean little devil, came over the top of the camera and bit me right on the nose. But he calmed down like most Pit's do and let me photo him eyes watering and all. Also notice the pink between the scales at mid body.
