any one here ship herps with fed ex

I have been trying to find a way to ship herps with Fed Ex. However every time I call or talk to any one at fed ex I get told that they do not handle anything other than zoo specimens. This can not be true as well there are all sorts of places shipping herps via fed ex.
I am just trying to get a straight answer from someone. Thanks for your help. Also what other companies are out there that handle herps? Any input would be great.
