Just got back from St. Louis Show...

I left dissapointed. No one had albinos or even 100% hets. Well one guy said he had one but couldn't back it up with paperwork, boas, or photos. This show was the smallest I have been too. There was an abundance of normal red tails. There was also an abundance of scammers. Here is just a tid bit of what I saw.

A sub adult so called Leticia Boa for $375 and the guy told me they are the only natural hypo boa. Hmmm........WTF

A so called 02 Salmon Boa for $85 that was totally normal. What a deal...

A double het boa. Seller said it was het for stripe and pastel... I asked how he can back this up, he answered by telling me the mother was a pastel and the father had a stripe.
Oh goodie.... $125

WC ball Pythons for $14.99 fully infested... I'll take two please...LOL

There were some nice folks there, I picked up a nice Hogg from Classic Dum's and a nice BCI from Karen Lucy, the Educ. Coordinator for the St. Louis Herp Society. I will post some pics later.

it was not that bad you where only looking for boas in that department ya it was slimm only normals and all the morphs there were had no paperwork but if you went for colubrids it was great albino nelsons, striped gray band, and nice corn snakes and the ball pythons were bad but what do you expect there imported and you can tell when about 100 are in the same bin classic dums had nice bloods and did you see all those burms and boas housed in the same bin it mad me mad but what can you do

Yes there were some nice colubrids there and I was looking at primarily boas. I am not into colubrids anymore. I agree, the burms and boas didnt look to good all piled up like they were. Almost every table had poor lighting also.
