hides are deffinately good .. as for making it look better i always turn to what vivarium people do and glue things such as cork bark to the back so you are not just looking through to the other side .. since it is a young boa just fill it up with things .. you may not see the boa as much but it will make him feel safer with more places to hide as well as look a little less boring and be a bit more difficult to clean.
hey thanks alot. But I am trying to make her seen b/c with the old hides she would never come out. And I do mean NEVER, only to feed. Am i doing somthing wrong if so let me know. Thanks again!

snakes require hides to feel safe. the problem is that it should not be as much of a concern for you to see the snake as it is for the snake to feel safe. a snake that is not able to hide is likely to get stressed out and have problems in other areas such as feeding and health. the snake will get comfortable with its surroundings after a while and will not stay in the hides all the time. i highly recomend hides.
ok well thanks alot i will get some stuff thanks
it is good that it is hideing. Soon it will become adjusted and become active.

Put in more branches . Your boa will use them and you might as well make use of the top area of the cage.
Your not using a heat rock are you? THat rock looks like one to me
