What do the lavender black rats look like when they grow up? Like the babies, but bigger? or do they lose the blotches? Thanks for any info....

They are very variable.....some lose them totally.....some retain a lot of the pattern.....

usually you can judge by the parents.....

heres a shot of mine as a yearling.....

The lavender black rats can vary quite a bit. Some will get darker as they grow and some will get lighter. It's difficult to tell how one will turn out, but they are very neat snakes. Here's my male lavender that I got from Dwight a year ago. This is an earlier pic of him. He is developing a nice lavender shade on him.
