lighting question

itsazoo Oct 26, 2004 01:21 PM

I've read in several places that due to their nocturnal nature, Leos do not require a fluorescent UVA/UVB light. Is it harmful to use one anyway? I am currently using ESU Desert 7%UVB Reptile Lamps on both of my enclosures. I wanted some kind of daytime lamp to create a definate photo-period and just for display purposes in general.

if you just want to create some light and not produce any heat i suggest you use a 20 watt whitish covered bulb.
