feeding cresteds...

itsazoo Oct 26, 2004 01:37 PM

It's seems like my two sub-adults never eat...yet they are growing/fat/happy. I've offered T-Rex CGD, every type/flavor of baby food I can find, and give them 12 crix twice a week to share. I just never see them eat anything. The baby food looks untouched, there are at least 4-6 crickets left from the 12 I gave them on Saturday. Any suggestions?

Cresteds are very small, and so are their stomachs. If they weren't eating they wouldn't be healthy. If they are growing then they are eating.

Also be careful you arent overdoing it with the crix. I've had animals freak out like that. if crix are sticking around for days and not being eaten it can be a stressing thing. I guess i would be too if my ham sandwich kept jumping around on my head.
