Gravid Jacksons

beardedboyo Oct 26, 2004 01:57 PM

I have a female Jacksons that is 6 months gravid and she has started to move very slowly, is hanging out lower in the cage than usual and eating way less than normal. Is this a sign shes nearing birth? or is something else wrong with her?

If she is getting ready to birth, how long from when she starts doing this till the actual birthing??
Thanks

When you see her on the ground, pacing, you know births are imminent. What I have noticed with my jacksons clutches, they seem to start dropping babies around mid-day the day after the pacing starts.
