tELL ME IF THIS LOOK LIKE A GOOD QUALITY WHITE THROAT.

HERE IS ANOTHER PIC

They look in bad shape, look at the tails, on the first one its plain to see, the tail is caved in. Which means, its not in good health. Which is the first thing you should be looking at. Notice the tails on these, fat and healthy.
Color and pattern is personal preference, if you like it, then its good. Good luck F

FR what time of the year will you have Whitethroats available?
Mar
The first pic is of the female. This is the way I got them. The others hace thick tails. I see what you mean about the female. But nothing is wrong with my other. They all eat great. Is there a way to help them took get better. By the way were can I get some of your whitethroats they are the best I ever seen. Thanks. Let me know if you have any for sale.
Wow you must be really smart, cause I can never sex baby monitors. Please tell us all your secret on how to sex them at such a small size. LOL
Why do you persist to ask these questions? and yet come off that you know something? Not trying to be rude or offend anyone but give me a break already, Anyone offended sorry but read through his other posts and see for yourself.
Why dont you ask the question be for asuming something. They were sergically sexed by the guy I bought them from there is an incesion made on all 4 of them. they guy who bred them and the female has a blue pen mark on her belly. Now you have any question. I did not say I sexed them. I think you need to think before you say something next time thats just a little thought. Not to offend you or anything.

Someone explain to me what this fella is so different then many that come to these forums. I really do not see a difference, do you guys. So what if hes wrong, So what, if hes making it up or wants to believe it. I will bet ten bucks he does not raise them up and breed them, so what does it matter what sex they are.
So far, hes not giving advice, like so many others do.
Maybe you guys should ask him who did the sexing, that would be interesting. Did you know, that method is used for birds and was used for many years sexing monitors in europe. I don't know how accurate it was, as I bought a sexual pair and both were male. So i guess its not all that accurate.
I see the problem here is, you fellas attacking him. Why not simply ask him for evidence. Whos the breeder? any proof they were bred by that person? Who sexed them? do they have a record of previous experience and have they been accurate? You see, this is whats important in this post, not whether this fella is right or wrong or full of beans. Most people here are wrong and full of beans, he should fit right in.
My opinion is, those are imports, they have parasites, and they are many months old. After a month or two of age, albigs can be sexed by eye. Not a big deal for someone with experience. Remember whats important about being captive hatched is, the offspring are in great shape and have not been stressed out. If captive hatched monitors have been tortured, then they are no different then Wild caughts(as far as captives are concerned). These looked tortured. IF this person does not know and understant that, he soon will. F

Most of us don't start off with Salvadori. This individual came here and presented himself as very knowledgeable and experienced especially with his crocs. Then asked us for info. You even helped him out. Then he offers them up for sale. I am guessing that's why you said what you did about his not raising them & breeding them.
Some of us offered help / advice for his crocs, then help on his half hearted quest for albig info and still he knows nothing & researches less. He waited a day or so and posted the same question again. Maybe he didn't get the "right" answer the first time.
I don't think the "attacks" were on purpose as much as they are out of frustration. Do you recall a little guy that called himself "spike" then "FS". He wore the forum & you out as I recall about a year or so ago. I think maybe we all need to start off again but you of all people know how frustrating the "circle of life" is here on this forum. It goes from newbie to no one back to new newbies again that know more than the last ones did.
I for one apologize for any attacks. I would really like to know more about the breeder of those animals & the surgical sexing method.
Thanks and best of luck with the little one's.

Hi Gene, hes no different then many that have come and gone.
Think about this, its about pure numbers, 99% of those who attempt to breed monitors will fail. FOR whatever reason. 90% of those on the forum this week, will be gone within two years. 60% of the longterm experts will not keep monitors in two years. Its all about numbers. Then as you have seen, for all those that leave, more will replace them. Thats the way of things. Also, these forums will always be dominated by newbies, as they are younger, have more free time and are more computer literate.
Really its not about the individuals, simply numbers.
If someone asked me if I was proud of breeding all the monitors and species, that I have bred, I would have to answer no, thats not a biggie. What I am proud of is, I have bred them to many generations and more importantly, I still breed them. F
Hi Frank,
Yes he is no different than alot of people. I don't believe for a second that any surgery was done, but it does not really matter in the end.
It is completely possible that digging up infertile eggs fouled my mood.

Thank you Robert, that really made me laugh and thats a good thing. Sorry for the infertiles. Keep at it, one day you will succeed. F
My post is based on off chance that you really believe your own explanation. Personally, I find it hard to believe anyone could believe that story, but maybe you do.
No one did a surgical procedure to sex your animals, or if they did, they completely made up the results. Cutting into a baby monitor to check out its reproductive organs would be difficult and most likely fatal. Look at how small the animals are. You cannot go hacking into them and expect them to live. To do so correctly you would need some pretty precise medical tools - not the kind that the average (or even above average) keeper/dealer has laying around. Further, even if someone did have those tools, the chances of them having a clue as to the sex of the animal based on tiny sex organs that most likely look very similar between the sexes at hatchling size is unlikely.
Are you sure the "incision" you are looking at is not the belly button?
Assuming you actually believe this story and are not making it up on your own, then whoever sold you those animals marked a few and told you they were females. Maybe they'll turn out to be females or maybe not. But there was no valid surgical test done to see which were females.
I will try to take a picture of the belly and you tell me that it does not look like the breeded cut in to them. It does not look like the belly button. I never said the info is accurate this is what I have been told. I do not know if he lied to me or not. This is just what i have been told. I come to this forum asking for help and all you guys do is make me look stupid. All I would like is help with my monitors. i'm not an expert just a newbie lookin for some help. I did not this forum is for experts on monitors only that is what it seems like.
I took that to the extreme for your tastes. Maybe I spend to much time with animals and not enough communicating with people.
My point was you asked for help on crocs, alot of us helped you or tried. You then posted them for sale. You asked for info. on albig's. Got a few responses and yet it seems thats all you did and did not do any research time yourself. It is pretty easy to type in a species name on a search engine. I am just frustated lately with people who ask me questions and get animals without knowing a thing. I am one who puts alot of work and time into all animals I work with and seeing someone take it like a feather to the wind drives me crazy.
If you would do some research on your own and prove to me your trying to do right by the animals I might be a little nicer. until then I guess you and others like you might not like me much but hey that is ok.
Anyways I feel bad you believed the supposed breeder you bought them from. Please email me with the name of this person I would like to contact them. I cannot wait to see pictures as I too would think it is probly the (belly button) you are seeing.
Try to ask better questions.
Have a good day!
i think it is the belly button. I have done research I just was wondering diffrent opions everyone use something diffrent for the animals. Do you think everyone ids the same. Also I am not selling all my croc monitors i have a total of four babys and i wanted to sell two due to space reasons. if you dont want to help dont help. i have done research on both my animals on google that is the best search engine i can fine.
You come on here for the first time ever, with 2 hatchling salvadori, that, be honest, you know nothing about. You ask the most basic questions for a species as difficult as Salvadori are. Showing that if you did any research, there is no way you would ask these questions. Heck, many answers can be found right here in the forum archives. Then you come with 4 young whitethroats and have no idea about them either. Now you magically have 2 more Salvadori for a total of four. You need to take a step back, put yourself in someone elses shoes, like someone that questioned you, and read your own posts from their point of view. Then ask yourself if it sounds like b.s.. So whatever your real intentions and goals are, good luck I guess. You might want to take a pic of all 4 Salvadori together. As I can imagine that I am one of several people that would like to see that. I guess like Frank said, we'll see if you are still here in a couple years. Because with the lifespans of those monitors you have right now, you are deffinatly in for a very expensive and long haul. -Jeff

How old are your white throats in the pic frank and how big?Mine are alot smaller than those.
