moko Oct 26, 2004 07:20 PM

His surgery went well and he is doing well. He is still at the vet's and I hope to drive into Raleigh tomorrow and pick him up after I give them my arm and leg. lol

I hope your Issey will start to thrive now.

This makes me want to be extra careful about any jumps my lizards might make while I handle them. Annabella has a crazy thing for jumping up towards the light. She burned herself when my husband switched over to halogen Just the other week she was in the living on the floor and she could see the light coming out of the window and she jumped straight up into the air a couple times. I have to wonder if she would look into the sun in the wild and just make a jump for it.

it is good to see you have your sense of humor about this my mom used to help homeless animals (before my sisters started having kids) and she and my dad took this dog who had been hit by a car to the emergency vet. the check in lady said the dog needed a name for the records and of course my parents said "ditch" because that is what they pulled him out of.
the poor guy ended up losing a leg too. while he was under anesthesia for being neutered, they checked out his hurt leg and saw infection was everywhere. the poor dog came out of surgery missing his manhood and a leg!
