you need 18 sheets of 4x8 material?

well there are several answers to that question ... lol kinda like which came first the chicken or the egg ...

1/4" Plastics -
PVC - can be welded or edge glued
XPVC aka Sintra -can be welded or edge glued
HDPE -welded / mechaincally fastened
HDPP -welded / mechaincally fastened
Styrene ( in the acrylic family ) edge glued/sovent welded

all or most of these are available in 3/8" aswell im not sure if the XPVC is or atleast my supplier it isnt . Also look for sign/ marine distributers in your area if you order online you will be better off having them made for you as the shipping will tear a hole in the wallet. Also beware of smaller sign shops they normally do a 100% markup not all do but most do .
hope this helps .
Alan

The stuff you are talking about is probably melamine. IT's basically wood with an ironed on plastic coating.
