SHE might be a HE!

OK I think I may have a problem. I bought a female hypo carrot tail about a month ago. She eats like a pig, and is very healthy. She's still young and with my youngin's I check them often just to make sure there's nothing new going on "down there," if you catch my drift! Anyways, I noticed a slight bulging below the vent today. It's not much, but it's still got me worried. None of my other females have this. Also, she/he is being housed with a definate male. This male is much younger than her, so I've never been worried about unwanted mating. I don't have any spare cages available right now, so I couldn't separate them. Should I just wait till I'm positive of the sex? Does anyone out there have a female that has a slight bulg below her vent? Or should a bet on mine being a male? Thanks for the insight!

She is probably just cleaning...how old is your leo?

The best way to be sure if it's a boy is by the anal glands. Mine is a male so wouldn't know abot females, it'll take a shot of his underside so you can look. I'll post it in a few minutes.

Here's a pic of my male, I pointed out the anal pores and the buldges. I hope this helps. The arrow shaped row of anal pores are only seen on males, so if your gecko has these, it's a boy.
