I have what is said to be an Albino Baja Gopher. Could I get some verification from my pics. I would like to post a pic here but cannot figure out how to attach it. Thanks for your help!

Personally, I've always questioned the purity of Albino "Baja" gophers(btw, are they supposedly bimaris or vertebralis?), not because I know anything about their supposed origin, but on appearances alone. It would be so easy to introduce some affinis into them to get the albino, and the appearance of most I have seen does nothing to make me doubt that suspicion. Again, I'm not accusing anyone of anything because I don't know what their origin is, but they just don't look pure to me.

Thanks for the input. I have also received information supporting what you said from other people. I like to be honest when it comes to herps and didn't want to rip someone off.
thanks again!!

I was unsure about the Albino Capes purity for a while . Mostly because other people questioned it !

I end up getting a Albino Cape from Gregg Feaster last year . As soon I seen the Albino Cape in person I thought to my self these are pure Vertebralis. There is a trait that beleive to one of a kind in all Albino Pituophis . These Albino Cape's have Lavender eyes or iris . The same color as there lavender Blotches .

Now if these Albino Capes where crosses or hybrids wouldn't we see other albino Pituophis with Lavender eyes.

Just some food for thought . What do you guys think???
