Dwight Good Oct 27, 2004 12:11 AM

Here are some photos I had stashed away on my remote PC's hard drive. I uploaded them to the web for everyone to see.

Here is the original cross, an albino yellow rat male X speckled king female.

A close up for the haters/doubters:

Here is one of their offspring, fresh out of the egg pre shed:

Here is the entire clutch after shed or two:

Snake #1

Snake #2

Snake #3

Snake #4

Snake #5

Snake #6

Snake #7

Snake #8

Snake #9

Here are some misc pics of these animals as they got older:

Male

Another photo, same snake

Female

How could anyone look at these pics and then be anti-hybrid. EXCELLENT achievement! thanks for sharing.

I am not anti-hybrid - but frankly my first thought was how could anyone look at that first picture and not want one of those albino yellow ratsnakes!! He is absolutely breath-taking! Gorgeous snake!

From a hybrid perspective - think the F2 would be quite interesting from these - might expect quite a bit of diversity there - but have to admit I like the parent albino yellow rat better.

YES! the ratsnake is a keeper and so is the holbrooks. No wonder that hy-brid turned out so fine.

Thanks for the compliments. I did this cross several years ago and sold all of the offspring after they hatched, sorry.
